Arsenal 7-1 Blackburn: 7 Things We Learned from the Gunners' Win
Arsenal have moved back into Champions League contention after a stunning seven-goal haul against a very poor Blackburn Rovers squad at the Emirates.
Robin van Persie claimed a hat-trick, young starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain bagged a brace with Mikel Arteta and Thierry Henry scoring one each as a rampant Gunners took full advantage over a 10-man Blackburn Rovers team.
The game, played at 13:00 to help Arsenal fans with traffic congestion as the Victoria Tube Line was closed, started off frantically with Robin van Persie scoring after just 90 seconds. Blackburn equalized through a barnstorming free kick from Morten Gamst Pederson, his 10th free kick since August 2005, but after Gael Givet was sent away, there was only ever going to be one winner.
Here we look at seven things we learned from the mauling...

10 Things We Learned From Manchester v North London and EPL Week 3
We're just three weeks into the new English Premier League season and we have already seen two of the greatest team performances of recent times, two of the worst team performances of recent times, and two clubs in crisis.

EPL Relegation Battle:Blackpool and Birmingham to go Down On Survival Sunday
As "D-Day" or "Survival Sunday," depending upon which broadcaster you watch, looms. There are no less than five teams involved in the relegation scrap at the bottom of the Premier League.
Sorry West Ham United have already taken the dreaded plunge into the Championship after last weeks capitulation against Wigan Athletic and with just goal difference and the odd point separating five teams, two from Wigan, Blackburn, Wolves, Blackpool and Birmingham face the very real prospect of financial ruin and relegation.

Big Sam To Rafael Benitez: I'm Under Your Skin, I Don't Like You And You've Blown Liverpool's Chances Of Reaching The Champions League
Just when you thought it was safe to go back out on the pitch. Big Sam and Rafa are at it again. Fresh from Benitez's Barcelona jibes, Big Sam has hit back by claiming he has got under Rafa's skin, that he doesn't like him, and that the Liverpool manager has blown his clubs chances of reaching the Champions League.
This round of their constant belittling of each other started on the eve of Blackburn's trip to Liverpool where Sam Allardyce claimed that Rafa had turned Liverpool into a modern day version of Bolton.
An unhappy Benitez decided to bite his tongue on that occasion, but hit back in the press conference following the Reds 2-1 win over Rovers...

Rafa The Klingon Twists The Knife On Big Sam After Liverpool Beat Blackburn
The Klingons have a saying; "Revenge is a dish best served cold." After years of thinking that Rafael Benitez was an emotionless Vulcan, it would appear that he is actually a first cousin to Worf...
Mere moments after Liverpool vanquished Blackburn 2-1 at Anfield, Rafa couldn't wait to stick the knife into Big Sam and twist. Of course, his comments were a direct reaction to Allardyce's claims that he had turned Liverpool into an expensive version of Bolton.
The relationship between the duo has always been strained, but now it is absolutely poisonous.

EPL Team of the Week: Everton Stuffs United and Roman Conquers the Latics
Week 27 of the English Premier League season was proof that the title race, or any other race for that matter, are anything but foregone conclusions. A Landon Donovan-inspired Everton took Manchester United apart, while Manchester City and Liverpool played out one of the worst games this season, and Chelsea won their first away match for what seemed like an age.
Another week over as we move closer to the zenith of this season, and there were more twists and turns than a Curly Wurly, which is a very nice choclate bar I might add...
